Nicole Wallace Cast in New F1 Movie From Prime Video, Josh Heuston Also Stars

Nicole Wallace has been cast in a new F1-themed romance movie on Prime Video. Wallace is set to star alongside Josh Heuston in the lead. The romance is adapted from a best-selling novel by Lauren Asher.

Amazon MGM Studios posted an official announcement on X, declaring Wallace the lead in Throttled. The upcoming movie is based on the first novel in Asher’s popular Dirty Air romance series.

In Throttled, Wallace will star as Maya Alatorre, an ambitious young woman. This project would add another Amazon MGM collaboration to the actress’s slate, as she has previously starred in other romantic dramas for the studio.

Wallace previously starred in the Culpables trilogy. The 24-year-old also starred in the Spanish drama series The House of Spirits. Wallace is set to lead another upcoming Prime Video comedy-drama series, Postcards from Italy.

As previously announced, Heuston will portray Maya’s love interest, Noah Slade. The actor recently played musician Justin Kohl in Prime Video’s Off Campus. The 29-year-old’s other acting credits include Heartbreak High, Dive Club, Dune: Prophecy, and Dangerous Animals.

The F1 romance brings Wallace and Heuston together for a high-speed love story

Nzingha Stewart helms the F1 romance movie. Melissa Osborne has provided the script for Throttled. The movie will bring Wallace and Heuston together for a high-speed, high-stakes love story.

It follows Maya Alatorre as she joins her brother on the race circuit. However, she falls in love with her brother’s ruthless teammate and fiercest racing rival, Noah Slade. Slade, whose focus is the F1 championship, views Maya as a distraction. But as they keep running into each other, their romance grows.

Throttled will be produced by Max Handelman, Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Gibgot, Andrew Panay, and Garrett Grant. Alison Small and the author, Asher, will serve as executive producers.

The Amazon MGM Studios adaptation does not yet have an official release date.
