‘She’s The Best’: Black Adam Star Is in Awe of Rachel Zegler

Noah Centineo opened up about his friendship with Rachel Zegler. He shared how they met, noting that they have never worked together on an entertainment project. The actor also praised her acting abilities and spoke highly of her.

During a conversation on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast, the host told Centineo that he had been texting his best friend, Zegler, while acknowledging that the two are close. Centineo agreed, saying, “We are. We’re very close. And she’s the best.”

He was then asked where they first met, given that they have never worked together on a movie. “No. No. Yeah. We’ve never actually been on camera together. At least not like, I think, together. That’s true. There are photos of us. We’ve never worked together, you know,” he said.

The XO Kitty star revealed that their paths first crossed at Zachary Levi’s house. At the time, Centineo was working on Black Adam while Zegler was involved in Shazam! Fury of the Gods. He mentioned that they got along instantly and formed a close bond.

Centineo described Zegler as someone “precious” to him before praising her talent. “And it’s just that she’s the sweetest, most talented person that I really know. I mean, it’s actually insane, her ability. I know.”

The actor continued. “She really is one of the most talented artists on the planet. Not just her emotional capacity, but, like, her vocal strength and capacity, her acting ability, like the fact that she can dance, and, like, with what Evita, I can’t wait to see. Did you see it yet?” He further noted that he’s just in “awe” of her. Moreover, he expressed his love and continued support for Zegler.

Centineo is set to star in four upcoming projects, including Iconoclast, Street Fighter, Gundam, and John Rambo. This year, he also appeared as Jack Parsons in Union County.
