Currently, it’s unclear whether or not the star-studded cast for Zootopia 2 will be returning. The sequel featured a nearly countless amount of big times, including Jason Bateman, who reprised his role as Nick Wilde. It’s unknown if any of them will be back, but it’d be surprising if Bateman wasn’t back for one of his biggest roles.
Much like its original film, Zootopia 2 was an absolute smash hit for Disney. The sequel grossed over $1.85 billion at the global box office, and is currently the ninth-highest-grossing film of all time, and the second-highest-grossing animated film of all time, behind only Ne Zha 2.
Zootopia 2 also received a litany of award recognition. The movie was nominated for Best Animated Picture at a ton of shows, including the 98th Academy Awards, and won the award at the 79th British Academy Film Awards.
