X-Men: Wagner Moura Gives MCU Fans Bad & Good News About Mister Sinister Rumors

Wagner Moura has reacted to growing rumors about his potential future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The actor addressed fan speculation linking him to Mister Sinister and shared both good and bad news for Marvel fans. While Moura confirmed he hasn’t spoken with Marvel Studios, he also admitted he would be happy to accept the role if offered.

In his conversation with ScreenRant for The Last House promotions, Wagner Moura said, “I’ve been reading these things on the internet, and people are sending that to me. I mean, I’m a fan of that whole entire universe, especially when I was a kid reading all those graphic novels and everything. But there’s nothing. No one contacted me about it. It’s just something that people read. But on the internet, I don’t know nothing honestly about it. I would love it.”

Although the casting rumors are not true, Moura’s interest in the character has given fans hope that it could become reality if Marvel ever chooses to cast him.

Why Mr. Sinister is one of the X-Men’s most dangerous villains

Mister Sinister (whose real name is Nathaniel Essex) is one of the X-Men’s strongest enemies. First mentioned in Marvel Comics in 1986, the villain is known for his genetic experiments and his obsession with creating the perfect superhuman. He has also teamed up with Apocalypse (one of the X-Men’s oldest and most powerful villains) in several comic book stories.

This character has many abilities, such as telepathy, telekinesis, shape-shifting, quick healing, and an extended lifespan. These powers make him one of the most dangerous opponents of the X-Men. Despite his popularity, Mister Sinister has never appeared in any of the MCU movies or TV series.

Marvel Studios’ MCU is set to introduce a new generation of X-Men characters after Disney acquired 20th Century Fox. Wagner Moura has been a favorite choice for Mister Sinister among comic book fans amid casting debates.
