We got Jayme Lawson, Laura Kariuki, Anok Yai, Vivian Oparah, and Joy Sunday,” claiming that all these personalities would be great casting for the beloved mutant.
Meanwhile, @Whwuwuw67 declared that Yai would “be the perfect Storm,” and @Lilzupiter agreed with the sentiment, calling it a “perfect casting.”
Further, @iamthatICTR noted that they had always advocated for Yai’s potential casting as Storm. “I always said this in the comments session; I guess she must have thought about it also, or maybe saw my comments somewhere somehow,” they posted. “If she can act, she’s best for it.”
Many fans seem to share these doubts about Yai’s acting abilities. @rusty619 wrote on X, “Visually and aesthetically, she’s my favorite for the role. Only problem, I don’t think she acts, only models. And this is too huge a role to give to someone who doesn’t have acting experience.
But damn, she’s physically a shoo-in.”
