Robert Pattinson’s Daughter Has the Sweetest Batman Nickname for Him

Suki Waterhouse revealed that their 2-year-old daughter has a superhero-coded nickname for Robert Pattinson. She said Pattinson often talks to their child dressed as the Caped Crusader. The A-list couple welcomed their baby in March 2024 after announcing their pregnancy in November 2023.

In a conversation on the And the Writer Is… podcast, Waterhouse shared the nickname that their daughter uses to refer to Pattinson. She said, “She calls him Daddy Batman now, because he’s always dressed up like that.” She further clarified that this is because he’s filming The Batman Part 2 for the next seven months.

She further revealed that Pattinson regularly FaceTimes with their daughter, who has even seen him covered in fake blood while filming. “She doesn’t actually seem to notice,” she added. The Batman Part 2 received a release date of February 18, 2028, after several delays. Its star-studded cast includes Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, Colin Farrell, Scarlett Johansson, Charles Dance, Sebastian Stan, and others.

Waterhouse had also earlier called her fiancé the “greatest dad” during her conversation with  Access Hollywood’s guest correspondent at the 2024 MTV VMAs. A month after their child was born, Waterhouse announced at her Coachella performance the gender of the baby. She said, “I don’t know if some of you know, but I had some big life changes happen recently; some pretty big events have been going down. I love amazing ladies, and I’ve been very lucky to have my own little amazing lady and meet the love of my life.”

Earlier this year, Pattinson appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! where he shared his daughter’s reaction to his villain Scytale in Dune: Part Three as well. He revealed that his child quickly recognised him in the trailer, despite his unrecognisable appearance.

“Yeah, but she like kind of looked at my head and pointed it, and she’s like, ‘eggy on the top.’ I was like, ‘Are you saying I look the whole head looks like an egg or is it there’s an egg on top of my head?” the Twilight actor explained.
