Sharknado Director’s New Shark Movie Turns a Water Park Into a Feeding Frenzy
The director behind every Sharknado is back with a new shark movie trailer. It’s not a Sharknado sequel this time. Water Park Shark is a new Anthony C. Ferrante film, and it deals with a shark let loose in a water park.
The film’s synopsis reads, “No running. No diving. No escape. When mutated Great White Sharks invade a Cape Cod water park, a lifeguard and the police chief must stop the carnage before opening day becomes a feeding frenzy.”

What do we see in the Water Park Shark trailer?
The trailer starts with a setup instantly familiar to any Sharknado fan, showing a couple attacked by a shark in a swimming pool. Viewers are then introduced to Austin Dillard (Matthew Dame), a former quarterback now working as a lifeguard in Cape Cod. Dillard crosses paths with David Chokachi’s character, and the two soon realise something is very wrong at the water park. Soon, a group of sharks attacks everyone at the pool. The rest of the trailer shows glimpses of the leading duo, joined by Chelsea Gilson’s character, as they figure out ways to fend off the attack.
The film was shot on location in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. In keeping with the Sharknado tradition, Water Park Shark will be a relatively short affair, clocking in at 92 minutes.
