Sense and Sensibility Trailer Release Date Set in First Poster, Daisy Edgar-Jones Images
The upcoming Sense and Sensibility‘s first official poster has revealed its trailer release date. The poster also gave audiences a glimpse of the movie’s visuals with newly released stills featuring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles.
When is the Sense and Sensibility trailer release date?
According to an official X post by Focus Features, Georgia Oakley’s Sense and Sensibility trailer will be released on June 25, 2026. The movie will make its theatrical debut on October 16, 2026.
Newly released first-look images have also been teased, giving a glimpse of the movie’s overall atmosphere and main characters.
The images feature leads Daisy Edgar-Jones and Esmé Creed-Miles as Elinor Dashwood and Marianne Dashwood, respectively. They are depicted at the center of pastoral landscapes and period-accurate costumes, staying true to the novel’s historical setting.
The supporting cast includes Caitríona Balfe as Mrs. Dashwood, Bodhi Rae Breathnach as Margaret Dashwood, George MacKay as Edward Ferrars, Frank Dillane as John Willoughby, Herbert Nordrum as Colonel Brandon, and Fiona Shaw as Mrs. Jennings.

Georgia Oakley’s adaptation of the 1811 Jane Austen novel depicts “a charming, witty, and deeply relatable story of love and sisterhood”. These first look images capture Oakley’s aim of making the audience feel what it was like to live in houses back then.
Some of her previous works include Blue Jeans (2022), which was her debut feature film. Moreover, the film was nominated for the BAFTA for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer.
The screenplay of the upcoming movie is adapted by Diana Reid, known for her novels Love & Virtue, Seeing Other People, and Signs of Damage. The production team includes Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, India Flint, and Jo Wallett. Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner have produced Austen’s Pride and Prejudice (2005). Executive producers include Thea Paulett and Angela Moneke.
