Spider-Man: Brand New Day Unveils Best Look Yet at MCU’s Tombstone
Fans just got their best look at Tombstone ahead of his live-action debut in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. A new line of action figures from the film has revealed the villain’s look.
What do we see in the new look at Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s Tombstone?
A new line of Blokees’ Spider-Man: Brand New Day action figures offers the best look yet at what Tombstone may look like in the film. The other figures in the Blokees’ Champion series for Brand New Day are accurate to their appearances in the film’s trailers. These include Boomerang, Scorpion, and Tarantula.
The Tombstone action figure shows the villain wearing a red suit and holding two futuristic-looking guns. The character’s hair is ash-white, accurate to how he looks in the comic books and other media. A previous piece of art had revealed a different look for the villain, so it remains to be seen how Tombstone will look in the film.
Marvin Jones III is playing Lonnie Lincoln, aka Tombstone, in the film. The actor has also portrayed a different version of the villain before in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The character will reportedly have a small role, although fans will have to wait for the film’s release to find out for sure. Traditionally, Tombstone is a crime boss in New York City, with nearly indestructible skin and super-strength. Besides films, the character has also appeared in the 2018 Spider-Man video game from Insomniac Games.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will feature multiple lesser-known villains, including Ramrod, Boomerang, and more. Michael Mando from 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming is returning as the Scorpion, while potentially teasing the upcoming X-Men saga. Before its release next month, the film has already scored a huge box office win in presales.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives in theaters on July 31, 2026.
