Netflix Is About To Lose Every Season of This Fan-Favorite Original Series

Netflix will drop all seasons of an original animated series from its streaming library very soon. Produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio, Pinky Malinky centers on an anthropomorphic hot dog and his life as a middle-school student. The show originally had a three-season run in 2019.

Pinky Malinky is leaving Netflix in July

All three parts (seasons) of the animated show will be removed from the streaming platform next month.

As per What’s on Netflix, Pinky Malinky will be exiting Netflix’s library on Friday, July 17, 2026. Created for Nickelodeon, the show experienced multiple delays before the network sold the exclusive streaming rights to the streaming giant. Now, the show’s removal from Netflix is likely due to the expiration of that streaming agreement.

Chris Garbutt and Rikke Asbjoern developed the series. It features the voices of Danny Jacobs, Lucas Grabeel, Nathan Kress, Diamond White, Colleen Smith, and Grey DeLisle, among others.

Pinky Malinky uses a mockumentary-style format and follows a cheerful hot-dog boy named Pinky who always looks on the bright side. Alongside his two human best friends, he navigates the social hierarchy of school and life in the fictional town of Sackenhack.

Part 1, consisting of 28 episodes, premiered on Netflix on January 1, 2019. The remaining two parts were released in April and July of the same year. Parts 2 and 3 each contained 15 episodes, bringing the series total to 58 episodes.

Upon premiering, Pinky Malinky received mixed reviews from viewers. Many praised its cheerful tone, creative visual style, and fast-paced humor. However, others pointed out that it often feels repetitive.

Nonetheless, viewers have described it as a good watch. On Rotten Tomatoes, only Part 1 has a user score, which currently sits at a respectable 75%.

Currently, there is very little official information on when Pinky Malinky will stream next. So, Netflix subscribers have a limited time to stream the three-part animated show on the platform.
