Fall 2: Deadpoint Trailer Previews Nerve-Wracking Virginia Gardner Sequel Movie

The first trailer for Fall 2: Deadpoint is here, featuring higher, deadlier heights. The trailer arrives a day after the sequel unveiled its new title and poster.

The film’s synopsis reads, “From the survival hit that tapped into the fear of heights and left two friends stranded at the top of a tower comes a climb that goes higher, gets deadlier, and hits with next-level adrenaline. In Fall 2: Deadpoint, two friends take on new heights in Thailand, where unpredictable terrain, extreme exposure, and nowhere to hide push survival further than ever before.”

What do we see in the Fall 2: Deadpoint trailer?

The Fall 2: Deadpoint trailer once again proves that those who are afraid of heights are going to want to stay far away from this franchise. The trailer starts with some biological facts about humans at heights of around 11,000 feet. Moreover, the text highlights the physical and psychological challenges the protagonists will face, including hallucinations. The footage ends with Arsema Thomas attempting to cross a vertigo-inducing bridge made of only pipes sticking out of a cliffside.

The text in the trailer reads, “At 11,000 feet, Oxygen drops to 13.7%. Heart rate increases. Blood pressure rises. Breathing becomes rapid. Panic accelerates dehydration, which leads to severe confusion, hallucinations, impaired judgement, [and] fear.”

The footage doesn’t reveal much about the film’s story. It also doesn’t spoil any of the film’s other deadly surprises. For viewers, the Fall 2: Deadpoint trailer is just doubling down on the franchise’s unique selling point. Following Fall 2, a third film is also in development.

Fall 2 stars Harriet Slater, Arsema Thomas, and Tom Brittney. The film is directed by Peter and Michael Spierig from a screenplay written by Mann and Jonathan Frank. It is produced by Scott Mann, Mark Lane, James Harris, Christian Mercuri, and David Haring.

Fall 2: Deadpoint will release in theaters on September 9, 2026.
