Robert Pattinson Reveals the Most Dangerous ‘Stunt’ He Did for Christopher Nolan
In a recent sit-down, Robert Pattinson told Tom Holland and Matt Damon about the “scariest stunt” that Christopher Nolan asked him to do, and it had nothing to do with the film. The three actors appear together in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic, The Odyssey.
Robert Pattinson did a hilarious stunt for Christopher Nolan
Robert Pattinson recently spoke about the most dangerous stunt Christopher Nolan had him perform on the set of The Odyssey. Surprisingly, it was not related to the film itself.
During a sit-down for GQ, Pattinson discussed The Odyssey with Matt Damon and Tom Holland. Damon leads the film as Odysseus, while Holland plays Telemachus. While talking about the film, the three actors discussed Nolan’s work ethic. They noted that the director seemed to be present everywhere at all times. They even lauded Nolan for not making them do anything that he wouldn’t do himself.
However, Pattinson pointed out that there was one scary thing that Nolan made him do on the set, however.
“Saying that, he did come and tell me to hold his dog,” Pattinson recalled, “Which I was like ‘that dog, it is going to bite me.’ You Hold it [laughs], like he does not want to be held.”
Pattinson added, “That was one of the scariest stunts I think I have ever done. It wasn’t even a stunt.”
The three actors laughed about this incident.
The Odyssey is arguably one of the biggest films of the year. Apart from Damon, Holland, and Pattinson, the immense ensemble cast of the film also includes Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie, John Leguizamo, Bill Irwin, Samantha Morton, Himesh Patel, Will Yun Lee, Mia Goth, Jimmy Gonzales, Elliot Page, Jesse Garcia, Rafi Gavron, Shiloh Fernandez, Corey Hawkins, Nick E. Tarabay, Maurice Compte, Michael Vlamis, Iddo Goldberg, Josh Stewart, Ryan Hurst, Anthony Molinari, Jovan Adepo, Sean Avery, Logan Marshall-Green, James Remar, Travis Scott, and Ian Casselberry.
The Odyssey premieres on July 17, 2026, in theatres across the United States.
