I Swear Sets Digital and Blu-ray Release Dates for BAFTA-Winning Drama
I Swear is heading home after its award-winning theatrical run. The BAFTA-winning drama about a Tourette Syndrome activist has set its digital and physical media release dates.

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has made I Swear available on digital platforms today, June 3. The BAFTA-winning biographical comedy-drama will also arrive on Blu-ray and DVD on July 14, according to a press release from Sony.
The film tells the extraordinary life story of notable Tourette Syndrome activist John Davidson. BAFTA Award winner Robert Aramayo portrays Davidson in the emotionally engaging drama. Kirk Jones directed and wrote the film, which also stars Maxine Peake, Shirley Henderson, Scott Ellis Watson, and Peter Mullan.
Set in 1980s Britain, the story charts Davidson’s diagnosis at the age of 14. It then follows him throughout his life as he becomes an advocate for the condition. The Times called the movie “an astonishing feel-good film.”
The Blu-ray and DVD releases will include a special feature titled The Making of I Swear. The Blu-ray features 1080p High Definition with a 1.85:1 aspect ratio. Both formats offer English and Spanish 5.1 audio options.
I Swear premiered at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival on September 7, 2025. StudioCanal released the film in the United Kingdom on October 10, 2025. Sony Pictures Classics later acquired distribution rights for the United States and multiple international territories.
The film earned five nominations at the 79th British Academy Film Awards in February 2026. Aramayo won Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance as Davidson. Lauren Evans also took home the BAFTA for Best Casting. On Rotten Tomatoes, 97% of 129 critics’ reviews are positive, with an average rating of 8.0 out of 10. The film carries an R rating for language throughout and some violence.
