Evil Super Soldiers Are Hunting a DCU Star in Godzilla Director’s Onslaught Trailer

DCU villain Adria Arjona faces off against real evil super soldiers in the Onslaught trailer. Helmed by Adam Wingard of Monsterverse films like Godzilla vs. Kong and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, the film stars Arjona as a mother who must protect her daughter from a rogue squad of genetically enhanced soldiers.

Backed by A24, Onslaught’s cast includes Dan Stevens, Rebecca Hall, Alex Pereira, Eric Wareheim, Reginald VelJohnson, Maurice Green, Michael Biehn, and Drew Starkey.

What do we see in the Onslaught trailer?

The Onslaught trailer begins with Celeste (Arjona), a former Army sniper haunted by her combat past, living off the grid as a single mother in a desert trailer park. Viewers get a brief look at her sharing a moment with her daughter before she notices Black Hawks flying over the trailer park toward what she suspects is a secret base in the north.

It’s revealed that the base has been housing genetically enhanced super soldiers who have gone rogue and broken out. The trailer then erupts into pure carnage, as the soldiers go about killing everyone in their sight, while the authorities responsible for them scramble to stop them.

The rogue squad eventually ends up in Celeste’s trailer park, leaving her with no choice but to pick up her guns once again, as she has to protect herself and her daughter by any means necessary. The Onslaught trailer ends on a high note, with Reginald VelJohnson’s character letting the soldiers know that they messed with the wrong trailer park.

The synopsis for the film reads, “When a rogue squad of genetically engineered super soldiers break loose in the desert, a badass Army sniper must unleash hell to protect her young daughter.”

Onslaught is slated to hit the theaters on September 4, 2026.
