Avengers: Doomsday just dropped a wave of new promo art, and the lineup is stacked. Fresh promotional artwork reveals key heroes and villains set to collide in Marvel’s upcoming crossover event.
Avengers: Doomsday gets several promo arts
Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday received several new pieces of promotional art, as shared by @AvengersUpdated on X.
The artwork offers a fresh look at Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom alongside key heroes. One image features Doom in a menacing solo pose. Another showcases Doom with Captain America, Cyclops, Thor, The Thing, and Yelena Belova.
A particularly striking piece displays the logos for the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men colliding together. The imagery teases a clash between the three superhero teams in the upcoming film. It hints at Earth-616, Earth-828, and Earth-10005 converging in a three-way Incursion this December.
Additional promotional art surfaced via merchandise retailer Cerda Group. That piece features Doctor Doom, Mr. Fantastic, Beast, The Thing, Cyclops, Captain America, Yelena Belova, and Thor. The art appeared on a gift set product listing on the retailer’s website.
Director Joe Russo recently addressed the topic of leaks and spoilers during an interview. He stated that audiences want surprise, but spoiler policing can sometimes go too far. He also noted that the filmmaking team focuses on crafting stories that hold up beyond initial surprises.
The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, and Paul Rudd. Fantastic Four leads Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn, who also join the cast. X-Men franchise veterans Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, and Channing Tatum round out the ensemble.
The Russo Brothers direct the film from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely. Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Jonathan Schwartz produce the project.
Avengers: Doomsday arrives in theaters on December 18.
