Spider-Man: Brand New Day Art Shows Off First Look at MCU’s Tombstone
New Spider-Man: Brand New Day artwork gives fans their first look at Tombstone. The newly released promotional art also gives fans a glimpse at other key Spider-Man villains like Scorpion and Boomerang.
Starring Tom Holland as the titular character, the upcoming superhero flick will see Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and Mark Ruffalo reprise their roles as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson, Ned Leeds, and Bruce Banner (The Hulk).
What do we see in the Spider-Man: Brand New Day art?
Tombstone, played by Marvin Jones III, is featured twice in the promotional material, including one striking artwork shared by @SpiderMan_Newz on X depicting him dangling Spider-Man from a great height. Jones is best known for voicing the character in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
While little has been revealed about the character’s role in the film, Tombstone is expected to serve as a recurring villain in the new Spider-Man trilogy envisioned by Sony and Marvel Studios.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day will also feature Sadie Sink and Tramell Tillman in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando will be seen as Mac Gargan or Scorpion, among others.
The Destin Daniel Cretton-directed film marks Jon Bernthal’s Punisher transitioning from TV to the big screen, serving as Bernthal’s MCU big-screen debut.

The synopsis for the film reads, “After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.”
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is slated to hit the screens on July 31, 2026.
