Dwayne Johnson, John Cena, & Jason Momoa’s $714M Action Movie Now on Peacock

Peacock expands its movie library with the addition of a star-studded action movie featuring Dwayne Johnson, John Cena, and Jason Momoa. As of today, the 2023 movie Fast X is now finally available to stream on Peacock, just in time for the Fast and Furious franchise’s 25th anniversary this year. Also arriving on the streamer are 2001’s The Fast and the Furious, 2003’s 2 Fast 2 Furious, and 2006’s The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

What do we know about Dwayne Johnson’s Fast X movie?

Fast X  was directed by Transporter’s Louis Leterrier, with Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau writing the screenplay. The movie also starred Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, and Scott Eastwood. In the 2023 movie, Johnson was able to reprise her memorable role as Luke Hobbs. During its theatrical run, it grossed over $714 million worldwide at the box office.

“Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved, and outdriven every foe in their path. Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they’ve ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who’s fueled by blood revenge, and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything–and everyone–that Dom loves, forever,” reads the official synopsis.

At the moment, Diesel is developing a brand new Fast & Furious short film, which will serve as a sequel to 2009’s Fast & Furious short film titled Los Bandoleros. As for Fast Forever, the Fast X sequel will once again be directed by Leterrier. It will arrive in theaters on March 17, 2028. In February 2024, Diesel previously described the next installment as a “grand finale.” There have been reports that the story might be a “throwback” to the original Fast and Furious movie, which could feature a new villain.
