Fan Bids $100,000 to Watch Avengers: Doomsday With Paul Rudd

A fan recently bid a huge sum of money to catch the world premiere of Avengers: Doomsday with Paul Rudd. This comes shortly after the directors, The Russo Brothers, fueled existing hype for the movie by sharing mysterious images over the weekend.

Avengers: Doomsday fan bids $100,000 to get premiere tickets for charity

Paul Rudd held a live auction for two exclusive tickets to Avengers: Doomsday’s world premiere event in Los Angeles to raise money for Children’s Mercy Hospital. This was part of the annual Big Slick charity event in Kansas City.

At the event, the actor revealed that the winning bidder would not only get access to the premiere but also the after-party as his guest, promising to introduce them to celebrities he saw and get selfies.

One of the attendees secured the winning bid, $100,000, following which Rudd exited the stage to meet the man and hug him. The winning bidder reportedly is a longtime supporter of and regular contributor to Big Slick. His bid is also allegedly the highest paid for a single auction item at the fundraiser.

This comes after The Russo Brothers shared on social media related to Doomsday during the weekend. Fans analysed these for clues about the trailer’s release. Notably, one of the posts confirmed the filmmakers’ appearance at SXSW London.

At the event — which will include a special screening of Avengers: Infinity War — the pair will participate in two discussions with ex-Epic Games CCO and AGBO partner Donald Mustard: Deadline Live Studio: Close Up – AGBO and Building Artistic Universes Without Borders.

Avengers: Doomsday premieres in theaters on December 18, 2026. Anthony and Joe Russo directed from Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely’s screenplay. The pair also co-produced with Marvel Studios through AGBO.

Part of the MCU’s Phase Six, the film and its direct sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, will wrap up the Multiverse Saga.

Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans return to the MCU, with the former playing Doctor Doom and the latter reprising Steve Rogers. Other returning cast members include Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, and Simu Liu.
