All Movies in Popular Keanu Reeves Sci-Fi Trilogy Are Coming To Prime Video 

Fans of Keanu Reeves’ cult sci-fi comedy franchise will soon be able to stream the complete trilogy in one place. All three movies of the Bill & Ted trilogy are set to arrive on Amazon Prime Video next month, bringing the adventures of the eponymous duo back to streaming audiences. The franchise spans more than three decades, beginning with the original 1989 classic and concluding with the third film, released in 2020.

Three Bill & Ted movies set Prime Video streaming date in June

All three films in Keanu Reeves’ popular trilogy are heading to Amazon Prime Video very soon.

According to TV Guide, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, and Bill & Ted Face the Music will all begin streaming on June 1, 2026. Created by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, the franchise combines time travel, comedy, and music.

Released in 1989, Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure introduces Bill and Ted as two teenagers whose future depends on passing a history assignment. After receiving help from a traveler from the future, the duo embarks on a journey through different historical eras to gather famous figures for their presentation. The film currently holds an 83 percent critics’ score and a 75 percent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The story continues in Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, which premiered in 1991. The sequel follows the characters after robotic versions of Bill and Ted are sent from the future to eliminate them. Following their deaths, the pair attempts to escape the afterlife and return home. It currently holds a 56 percent score from both critics and audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

Nearly three decades later, the franchise returned with Bill & Ted Face the Music, which premiered on August 28, 2020. The third film follows the older Bill and Ted as they attempt to create a song capable of saving reality itself. At the same time, their daughters set out on a musical journey of their own across time. It received a stronger critics’ response, earning an 83 percent critics score and 64 percent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Throughout the Bill & Ted trilogy, Alex Winter appears as Bill S. Preston, Esq., while Keanu Reeves plays Ted “Theodore” Logan.
