The Blue Diamond Trailer: Alien Horror Movie With Barbara Crampton Sets Release Date | Exclusive

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for The Blue Diamond. The upcoming sci-fi horror thriller short film will be available to stream on June 5 on Cineverse. It will be a part of the next installment of Bloody Bites, which is the streamer’s horror anthology partnership with Bloody Disgusting.

“After the death of her toxic mother, a cultish 80s après ski club is the setting of a grieving daughter trying to find closure, but as usual with 80s ski clubs, nothing is as it seems (aliens),” reads the synopsis.

What happens in The Blue Diamond trailer?

The video introduces Desiree Staples as a grieving daughter who gets invited to her late mother’s strange ski club in hopes of finding closure. The trailer highlights her stay at the unusual club, where she’ll get to meet her mother’s so-called friends. The ensemble cast also includes Barbara Crampton as Jacqueline, Ethan Daniel Corbett as Jason, Emily Ashby as Chrishel, Elias Alexandro as Romain, Gillian Jackson Han as Mary, Jadon Cal as Brett, Meredith Kirkman as Christine, and more.

The Blue Diamond is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sam Fox, with Addison Heimann writing the screenplay. The horror short is also produced by Staples and Geenah Krisht, who are currently working with Fox on her upcoming feature-length directorial debut movie, Eveningstar. Fox previously won Best Director at the Nightmares Film Festival for her psychedelic short Bad Acid.
