Disclosure Day Final Trailer Offers First Look at Alien Creature in Steven Spielberg UFO Movie
The final trailer for Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day has given fans a new look at its aliens. The upcoming sci-fi film has shrouded its alien creatures in mystery until now.
The film’s cryptic synopsis reads, “If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to eight billion people. We are coming close to … Disclosure Day.”

What do we see in the Disclosure Day final trailer?
The final trailer for Disclosure Day is the film’s most story-focused yet. After establishing the premise, the footage teases the deeper connection between Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor’s characters.
“It will remind us of our capacity for empathy, and that there is something bigger out there than just ourselves,” says Spielberg, intercut with the film’s footage in the trailer.
A new look at the film’s aliens can be found near the end of the trailer. The final shot shows the camera zooming toward a deer’s eyes, with the animal morphing into an alien. Previous photos from the film revealed a new look at UFOs in it.
While the film deals with a fantastical concept, its writer has debunked a popular theory about it. No, Spielberg did not make Disclosure Day to officially announce the existence of real aliens to humanity. While the film is packed with a star-studded cast, its box office forecasts don’t look promising.
Disclosure Day stars Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Wyatt Russell, and Colman Domingo. The film is directed by Spielberg from a screenplay written by David Koepp. It is produced by Academy Award nominee Kristie Macosko Krieger and by Spielberg for Amblin Entertainment. The executive producers are Adam Somner and Chris Brigham.
Disclosure Day releases in theaters on June 12, 2026.
