Best Look Yet at Jason Momoa’s Lobo Revealed by Hot Toys Figure

A fresh look at Jason Momoa‘s Lobo recently went viral after Hot Toys released an image of one of their new collectibles for Supergirl. Momoa, who previously played Aquaman in the DCEU, is playing the role of Lobo in the upcoming DCU movie. The film is directed by Craig Gillespie and features Milly Alcock in the titular role.

Supergirl’s Lobo gets its own Hot Toys collectible figure

Jason Momoa’s Supergirl character, Lobo, recently got transformed into a Hot Toys figurine. The figure is inspired by the actor’s look as Lobo and is called the 1/6th scale Lobo Collectible Figure.

Images of the collectible were shared by Hot Toys on Instagram. The figure’s description states that it has a sculpted head with facial features similar to Momoa’s. The 12-inch figurine also allows collectors to change its expressions using the rolling-eyeball system. Its hairstyle is carefully braided to match Lobo’s on-screen look from the Supergirl trailer.

Additionally, it was stated in the caption of the post from Hot Toys that, to “capture Lobo’s imposing physique, the newly developed muscular body stands approximately 33 cm tall and features silicone arms with a seamless joint design, showcasing his raw, intimidating strength.” Its costume includes a brown sleeveless coat, a leather motorcycle vest, and chains wrapped around its wrists. Moreover, the figure’s biker look is defined by “a skull-buckle belt.” The complete set includes Lobo’s signature hook-chain weapon and brass knuckles.

DC fans will likely only get a full look at Momoa as Lobo when Supergirl arrives in theatres on June 26. The actor previously expressed his excitement about bringing the character to the big screen. He mentioned in an interview with Fandango that he was a comic book collector, but doesn’t collect anymore. He stated that Lobo “was always my favorite, and I always wanted to play Lobo.” He later posted a video on his Instagram wearing Lobo’s fangs, offering fans their first glimpse at the character.
