Toy Story 5 Trailer & Poster Shows Off New Villains for Buzz and Woody

The final Toy Story 5 trailer has Pixar fans more excited than ever to see the upcoming sequel movie. Releasing in United States theaters this summer, Toy Story 5 will see fan-favorite characters like Woody, Buzz, and Jessie compete with some electronic devices for Bonnie’s affection.

What do we see in the Toy Story 5 trailer?

Jessie largely seems to be the focus of Toy Story 5, as the new trailer sees her struggling to deal with Bonnie spending more time with electronic devices than with her toys. There’s a moment where she seems to be riding a real-life horse (and curiously pulling on the horse’s hair to make it run in a very Ratatouille-like move), while other scenes show an army of Buzz Lightyear toys, Woody’s return to Bonnie’s room following his decision at the end of Toy Story 4, and more.

More so than anything, the final Toy Story 5 trailer reinforces the idea that the electronics will be in the villains in the film. It was already known that Lilypad, who is voiced by Greta Lee, will be the main antagonist; however, the newly released marketing material makes it clear that Lilypad won’t be working alone, as other smart devices are seen menacingly lurking alongside her in the poster.

The synopsis for Toy Story 5 reads, “The toys are back in Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5, and this time it’s Toy meets Tech. Woody (voice of Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voice of Tim Allen), Jessie (voice of Joan Cusack), and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad (voice of Greta Lee), a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same?”

Toy Story 5 arrives on June 19, 2026.
