Psycho Killer Hulu & Disney+ Streaming Release Date Set for Bloody Slasher Movie
Georgina Campbell’s horror movie Psycho Killer has set a streaming release date. The film was released by 20th Century Studios this past February to negative reviews and a rare Rotten Tomatoes score.
Its reception may have been predictable since it wasn’t screened for critics ahead of release. Ahead of its streaming debut, the film currently sits at a meagre 9% on Rotten Tomatoes, counting 45 reviews.
The film’s synopsis reads, “Following the brutal murder of her husband, a Kansas highway patrol officer (Georgina Campbell) sets out on a journey to track down the perpetrator. As the hunt progresses, she comes to realize the man responsible (James Preston Rogers) is a sadistic serial killer, and the depth of his mental depravity and his sinister agenda is more twisted than anyone could have imagined.”
When is Psycho Killer being released on Hulu and Disney+?
20th Century Studios has announced that Psycho Killer will be available to stream in the US on Hulu and Disney+ on May 29, 2026. It was released on digital VOD platforms in early April. For what it’s worth, the film was received more positively by audiences, currently sitting at 36% from over 250 verified ratings. Should the movie perform well on streaming, it may end up competing with the most anticipated horror movies of the year.
Besides Campbell, Psycho Killer stars James Preston Rogers, Grace Dove, Logan Miller, and Malcolm McDowell. Directed by Gavin Polone from a screenplay written by Andrew Kevin Walker, the film is produced by Roy Lee, Matt Berenson, Andrew Kevin Walker, and Arnon Milchan. Martin Moszkowicz, Robert Kulzer, Yariv Milchan, Natalie Lehmann, and Kat Landsberg serve as executive producers.
Polone is known for his producing work on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Zombieland: Double Tap, A Dog’s Purpose, and more. He has also directed six episodes of the TV series Twisted. Walker, meanwhile, has written the screenplays for The Wolfman, Sleepy Hollow, and Seven.
