Spider-Man: Brand New Day Gets Early Release Date in Multiple Markets

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has secured an early release date in some territories, meaning fans living in these regions may get to experience it in cinemas before other fans around the world. Launching later this summer, the highly anticipated MCU movie looks to begin a new chapter in the saga of Tom Holland‘s webslinger.

Some global Spider-Man fans will get Brand New Day before the US

Spider-Man: Brand New Day has a July 29, 2026, release date in Germany and the Philippines. Sony Pictures’ German account and SM Cinemas, which operates in multiple locations across the country, have confirmed this.

Additionally, according to IMDb listings, the film is launching in Italy on the same day. Meanwhile, fans residing in Argentina, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Ukraine will get to see it a day later, on July 30.

This release strategy is not a novelty for MCU movies, especially the previous Spider-Man entries. Most have followed a pattern of launching elsewhere before arriving in the United States. However, 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War and 2019’s Avengers: Endgame were the only two notable exceptions to this. They launched simultaneously everywhere on their respective release dates.

Meanwhile, Brand New Day is arriving in the US on July 31, 2026. Part of MCU’s Phase Six, the film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. He is known to many MCU fans already for helming Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and co-creating Disney+’s Wonder Man. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, who co-wrote the previous three live-action Spider-Man movies, reprised writing duties.

The story takes place four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. It finds the titular hero living in a world where his civilian identity is now a secret again, and his loved ones no longer remember their past with him. While pursuing his crime-fighting career, protecting New York City from various criminals, he investigates a powerful new threat. Around this time, his powers undergo a strange evolution, resulting in him appearing to get new abilities like organic webbing.

Besides Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, the film’s cast includes Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Tramell Tillman, and Michael Mando. Jon Bernthal and Mark Ruffalo will also appear, reprising their roles of Frank Castle/Punisher and Bruce Banner/Hulk, respectively, from previous MCU projects.
