Brad Pitt’s The Adventures of Cliff Booth Sets Release Date, Gets IMAX
Brad Pitt’s upcoming The Adventures of Cliff Booth has set a release date. Better yet, the movie is also getting an IMAX release.
When is The Adventures of Cliff Booth’s release date?
According to Netflix in a recent release, the upcoming Cliff Booth movie will release on November 25, 2026, the day before Thanksgiving, in a special two-week IMAX theatrical run. After that, the movie will arrive on Netflix to stream on December 23, 2026, just in time for a Christmas streaming release.
The movie will see Pitt reprising his role as the character he originally played in 2019’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The film has no official title yet, but has been referred to as The Adventures of Cliff Booth in various reports. The film’s plot is also mostly unknown, but will take place after the events of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Alongside Pitt, the movie will also star Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, HB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, and Karren Karagulian.
While Brad Pitt will be reprising his role as Cliff Booth in the movie, Leonardo DiCaprio, who played Rick Dalton in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, will not be involved. The star acknowledged late last year that he won’t be involved despite reports that he was being offered a large payday to do so.
The new movie will be yet another collaboration between Fincher and Pitt, who have worked together for three of Pitt’s most memorable movies, including 1995’s Seven, 1999’s Fight Club, and 2008’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Originally released in 2019, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood followed the story of a fading actor (DiCaprio) and his stunt double (Pitt) as they navigate the changing world of Hollywood. A subplot of the movie also focused on Charles Manson and the Tate murders. The film was nominated for ten Oscars, winning two (Best Supporting Actor for Pitt and Best Production Design).
