What unique vampire movie is now on Hulu?

As of today, Welliver’s 2025 vampire movie, titled Abraham’s Boys, is officially available to stream on Hulu. The film takes place years after Bram Stoker’s Dracula novel, following the lives of Mina and Abraham Van Helsing. The ensemble cast includes Welliver as Abraham, Donahue as Mina, Judah Mackey as Rudy, Brady Hepner as Max, Corteon Moore as Eddie, and Aurora Perrineau as Elsie.

“Max and Rudy Van Helsing have spent their lives under the strict and overprotective rule of their father, Abraham. Unaware of his dark past, they struggle to understand his paranoia and increasingly erratic behavior,” reads the official synopsis. “But when they begin to uncover the violent truths behind their father’s history with Dracula, their world unravels, forcing them to confront the terrifying legacy they were never meant to inherit.”

Abraham’s Boys was written and directed by Natasha Kermani, based on Hill’s short story of the same name. It was executive-produced by Hill, Welliver, and Mark Lane. Producers were Leonora Darby, James Harris, James Howard Herron, Nicholas Lazo, Mark Ward, Tim Wu, and Samuel Zimmerman. Following its world premiere at the 2025 Overlook Film Festival, the film received negative reviews from critics. It currently holds a 40% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 35 reviews.
