Priyanka Chopra & LOTR Star Cast in Survival Thriller Movie Reset

Priyanka Chopra is adding another high-profile project to her growing Hollywood slate. The actress is officially set to star in the upcoming survival thriller Reset alongside Orlando Bloom, best known for playing Legolas in The Lord of the Rings.

What do we know about the Reset movie with Priyanka Chopra and Orlando Bloom?

As per the Deadline, Matt Smukler will direct Reset, and Jordan Rawlins will write the script. The story follows a woman, played by Priyanka Chopra, who wakes up in a remote wilderness far from civilization and has no memory of how she got there. Her only option is to rely on, played by Orlando Bloom.

Speaking on the film’s leading cast, Smukler said, “I was looking for a pairing where attraction and mistrust could effortlessly coexist. Priyanka and Orlando have this uncanny ability to make you believe both at once. Their chemistry is undeniable.”

Reset’s producers include Jon Hoeber & Erich Hoeber with their Fratricidal Films banner, Michael Lazarovitch for Chemically Altered, and Matthew Rhodes of Rhodes Entertainment. Chopra and Bloom are also producing under their banners Purple Pebble Pictures and Amazing Owl. Nadine de Barros will act as the executive producer. The film will head into the production stage in August.

Fortitude International will finance and launch international sales during next week’s Cannes Film Market. Verve Ventures, UTA, and WME Independent are co-representing North American rights for the movie.

Speaking further about Reset, producers Jon & Erich Hoeber revealed, “Jordan Rawlins and Matt Smukler have created a gripping story of survival, romance, suspense, and deceit, replete with shocking twists, and we’re thrilled to have partnered with Priyanka and Orlando to bring it to the screen.”

Priyanka Chopra recently starred in the action-adventure movie The Bluff. It climbed to the number one spot on its Prime Video debut. As for Bloom, he recently garnered acclaim for his performance in the thriller, The Cut.
