Masters of the Universe Movie: Fan-Favorite He-Man Character Gets Surprising First Look
The upcoming Masters of the Universe movie may have prematurely revealed a first look at a fan-favourite character from He-Man’s adventures.
Which He-Man character has received a first look for the Masters of the Universe movie?
The little wizard Orko has not shown up in any of the Masters of the Universe movie marketing material, but fans were quick to spot what looks like a first look at him in the adaptation. Orko was spotted in a new image from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: The Wings of Fate #1, a Dark Horse Comic that serves as an official prequel to the movie. The tie-in comic hits comic shop shelves everywhere on June 10, 2026.
The comic book cover features a silhouette of Orko behind the logo treatment. It’s not the greatest look at the character, but it does offer our first glimpse of Orko in the new movie so far. The image seemingly confirms that Orko will be part of the film, though how big his role will be remains unknown. For those unfamiliar with the character, Orko is a ̌blue-skinned Trollan wizard who primarily served as the comedic relief in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe series.
The upcoming film will see Nicholas Galitzine portray Adam Glenn/He-Man, with Jared Leto playing the villainous Skeletor, and is directed by Travis Knight and produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Robbie Brenner, and DeVon Franklin. Beyond the live-action adaptation, the next He-Man project has already been announced. While the film won’t be released for another month, reports already suggest plans for sequels are underway.
Masters of the Universe follows Prince Adam, the former Prince of Eternia, returning to his ravaged homeland to meet new allies and confront Skeletor.
Masters of the Universe releases in theaters worldwide on June 5, 2026.
