New Michael B. Jordan Netflix Movie Streams Today

One of Netflix’s highly anticipated comedy movies of this year has finally arrived, starring Academy Award winner Michael B. Jordan. As of today, the new animated adventure movie Swapped is officially available to stream on Netflix.

What do we know about Michael B. Jordan’s Swapped movie?

Swapped was directed by Nathan Greno, with John Whittington, Christian Magalhaes, and Robert Snow writing the screenplay, based on the story by Whittington, Adam Karp, Magalhaes, and Snow. In the film, Jordan voices the character of Ollie, a brown sea otter-like creature who switches bodies with a green bird. It also features the voices of Juno Temple as Ivy, Tracy Morgan as Boogle, Cedric the Entertainer as Caloo, Justina Machado as Calli, Ambika Mod as Violet, and Lolly Adefope as Lily.

“A buddy comedy about a small woodland creature and a majestic bird — natural sworn enemies of The Valley — who suddenly swap bodies and must team up (while walking in each other’s feathers and fur) to survive the wildest adventure of their lives,” reads the official synopsis.

The movie was produced by John Lasseter, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Mary Ellen Bauder Andrews for Skydance Animation. Composer Siddhartha Khosla has provided music for the film. The creative team also included director of photography Christophe Brejon and editor Tim Mertens.

This serves as Jordan’s first major movie after winning his first Best Actor award at the recent Academy Awards for his dual performance in Ryan Coogler’s 2025 vampire movie Sinners. He will next be seen in Amazon MGM Studios’ The Thomas Crown Affair movie with Lily Gladstone, and in the long-awaited I Am Legend sequel with Will Smith.
