Isabelle Fuhrman & Josh Hutcherson’s Sci-Fi Movie Signal One Gets Thrilling Trailer | Exclusive

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for Signal One, the upcoming sci-fi movie from Shout! Studios. This film reunites Josh Hutcherson with Isabelle Fuhrman, over 14 years after starring together in the first installment of The Hunger Games franchise. It is scheduled to debut on June 5, 2026, in select theaters and on digital platforms.

What happens in the Signal One trailer?

The video features Fuhrman as a genius scientist who gets enlisted by a tech billionaire to work on a secret machine that can communicate with extraterrestrial beings. However, things turn for the worse when their experiment leads to something that threatens the existence of humankind. Now, they must find a way to correct their mistake for the sake of humanity. The trailer highlights the consequences of their scientific curiosity.

Signal One is written and directed by Jonathon Sobol. The movie also stars David Thewlis (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) and Dennis Quaid (The Substance). It is produced by Doug Murray, William G. Santor, and Nicholas Tabarrok. The creative team consists of cinematographer Adam Swica, editor Duff Smith, production designer Iñigo Navarro, and costume designer Muska Zurmati.

“When tech billionaire Sam Houston hires the brilliant computer scientist Annika, she ventures to an isolated facility run by the brilliant, nihilistic creator of LittleMouth, a machine that can communicate with alien intelligence,” reads the official synopsis. “Annika soon learns some humanity-altering facts: that we are not alone in the universe, that alien intelligences are communicating around us at every moment, and that we are likely too primitive to even remotely understand what they are trying to tell us. But when the goal of the endeavor shifts from listening to talking back, the project rapidly devolves into chaos. With contact comes consequences, and soon Annika and the team must work to ensure the very survival of our species.”
