Man of Tomorrow Movie Gets Intriguing Casting Update Regarding DCU Character’s Family

Man of Tomorrow has received an intriguing casting update.

DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures’ Man of Tomorrow will be released in United States theaters next year. Written and directed by James Gunn, the movie serves as a follow-up to 2025’s Superman. David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult will both reprise their respective DCU roles as Clark Kent/Superman and Lex Luthor.

The cast of Man of Tomorrow also includes Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica/The Engineer, Lars Eidinger as Brainiac, and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart/Green Lantern. Additionally, both Adria Arjona and Andre Royo have been cast in undisclosed roles.

What is the Man of Tomorrow casting update?

On Reddit, someone posted a casting call for a Warner Bros. Pictures movie titled “Exodus,” which, according to the poster, is actually a working title for DC’s Man of Tomorrow.

The description of the casting call reads, “A major feature film is seeking a diverse family to portray the biracial family of a lead character. Casting directors are looking for a mother and two children who can authentically represent a loving, on-screen family dynamic. This opportunity is ideal for families with on-camera comfort and natural chemistry, ready to bring realism and warmth to a professional film production.”

There are no hints regarding which character’s family the casting call might be for, apart from the fact that it’s supposedly a “lead” in Man of Tomorrow, which suggests that it’ll be a superhero. Beyond that, it’s pretty much anyone’s guess as to what, exactly, these roles may be.

Man of Tomorrow arrives on July 9, 2027.
