Zack Snyder Shares Shirtless Henry Cavill’s Unseen Clark & Lois Bedroom Photo
Zack Snyder has dropped yet another never-before-seen photo from the DC films, featuring Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent. It captures Kent and Amy Adams’ Lois Lane in a tender moment, highlighting their romantic relationship. The pair slowly formed a close bond after meeting and getting to know each other in Man of Steel, culminating in their being together by the events of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Zack Snyder shares unseen photo with Henry Cavill’s Clark and Amy Adams’ Lois
Snyder recently uploaded a previously unseen photo of Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent and Amy Adams’ Lois Lane on Instagram. The picture, taken in a room with morning light reflections, shows the former, seen shirtless, sleeping on his stomach. Meanwhile, the latter places her hand on his back, either to comfort or wake him up, while eyeing him affectionately. Notably, unlike most photos on his account, this one is noticeably grainy.
“This couple—on my planet, they mean hope,” the filmmaker captioned the post. As of writing, it has garnered 41.9k likes.
The photo is likely from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, as that is the only film showing the pair together as a secure, established couple from start to finish—until Clark sacrifices himself to kill Doomsday. Man of Steel shows them igniting their romantic spark only at the end, after spending much of the movie slowly building their bond. Meanwhile, they are away from each other for a good portion of Justice League, as Superman is dead for at least half the movie.
Lois is not just Clark’s love interest in the DC Extended Universe films, but also the key to keeping him grounded and human. In Batman v. Superman, she resolves the conflict between the titular protagonists by stopping the former from killing the latter. She also convinces Bruce Wayne of Clark’s humanity by telling him that Martha is his mother’s name after he angrily asks the Kryptonian, due to remembering his own dead mother, why he said that name.
Later in Justice League, she helps Superman calm down and remember who he is after he is resurrected, and out of confusion and anger, he fights the titular team.
