Paramount shares footage from The Angry Birds Movie 3 at CinemaCon
Paramount Pictures dropped the first teaser trailer for The Angry Birds Movie 3 at CinemaCon. The footage puts the spotlight on Red, who is now a father. He is seen raising three children: a teenager annoyed at him, a young bird, and a baby bird. The children’s mother and Red’s partner, Silver (Rachel Bloom), reportedly wasn’t shown.
Notably, one of the children, a boy, will be voiced by Psalm West, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s son. His role was revealed in an episode of The Kardashians released in November 2025 (via People). However, West’s involvement was previously confirmed in the cast reveal earlier that year.
The clip concludes with the other protagonists and Red’s friends, Chuck (Josh Gad) and Bomb (Danny McBride), babysitting the former’s kids. Things become chaotic after Jason Sudeikis’ character’s youngest child drinks an entire bottle of soda (via DiscussingFilm).
Red being a parent marks a major evolution in his character arc, which saw him go from a hot-tempered outcast to a widely respected hero.
The Angry Birds Movie 3’s production was earlier confirmed on June 6, 2024. A 30-second video was released, showing Red using a sling to launch himself into the sky.
The movie premieres in theaters on December 23, 2026. Accordingly, it will find itself competing with other major releases slated for that month at the box office, such as Avengers: Doomsday, Dune: Part Three, and Jumanji 3.
John Rice directed the movie, while Thurop Van Orman wrote the screenplay. Additionally, Daniel Chuba, John Cohen, Carla Connor, and Namit Malhotra serve as producers.
