Emilia Clarke & Michelle Yeoh’s $123 Million Movie Arrives on Hulu Today

Hulu has added one of 2019’s highest-grossing romantic comedy movies to its library. As of today, Universal Pictures’ Last Christmas film starring Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke and Academy Award winner Michelle Yeoh is finally available to stream on Hulu.

What do we know about Emilia Clarke’s Last Christmas movie?

Last Christmas was directed by Paul Feig, with acclaimed actress Emma Thompson writing the screenplay with Bryony Kimmings, based on the story co-developed by Thompson and husband Greg Wise. It was also inspired by George Michael’s popular Wham! song of the same name. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film was still a hit among moviegoers. It currently holds a Popcornmeter score of 81% on Rotten Tomatoes. During its theatrical run, it grossed over $123 million at the box office, making it one of 2019’s highest-grossing romantic comedy movies.

“Nothing seems to go right for young Kate, a frustrated Londoner who works as an elf in a year-round Christmas shop. But things soon take a turn for the better when she meets Tom — a handsome charmer who seems too good to be true. As the city transforms into the most wonderful time of the year, Tom and Kate’s growing attraction turns into the best gift of all — a Yuletide romance,” reads the official synopsis.

The holiday movie also starred Thompson, Henry Golding, Patti LuPone, Boris Isaković, Maxim Baldry, Margaret Clunie, John-Luke Roberts, Fabien Frankel, Rob Delaney, Peter Serafinowicz, Ritu Arya, and more. It was produced by Feig, Jessie Henderson, David Livingstone, and Thompson, with Sarah Bradshaw serving as an executive producer.
