Beginning today, McBride and Rogen’s dark comedy movie Arizona is now officially available to stream on Netflix. In the 2018 movie, McBride played the role of a struggling homeowner during the 2009 housing crisis. Meanwhile, Rogen appeared in an uncredited role. The ensemble cast also included Rosemarie DeWitt (Rachel Getting Married) as Cassie Fowler, Luke Wilson (Old School) as Scott, Kaitlin Olson (High Potential) as Vikki, Elizabeth Gillies (Victorious) as Kelsey, David Alan Grier (In Living Color) as Coburn, and Lolli Sorenson (Henry Danger) as Morgan Fowler.
“Cassie is a real estate agent and single mom struggling to keep it all together during the housing crisis of 2009. Her problems go from bad to worse when disgruntled client Sonny violently confronts Cassie’s boss and then kidnaps Cassie – making one outrageously bad, and bloody, decision after another,” reads the official synopsis.
Arizona was directed by Jonathan Watson, with Luke Del Tredici writing the screenplay. The film was executive-produced by Del Tredici, Gino Falsetto, David Gordon Green, and Jody Hill. Producers are Dan Friedkin, Ryan Friedkin, Brandon James, Bradley Thomas, and McBride. The creative team included cinematographer Drew Daniels, editor Jeff Seibenick, and composer Joseph Stephens.
