McKenna Grace’s $90M Movie Finds Global Streaming Success
A romantic drama movie headlined by McKenna Grace has found global success on streaming and secured a top spot on charts. Made on a budget of $30 million, it enjoyed a modest run at the box office following its theatrical release. However, it garnered a negative reception from critics.
Regretting You is doing great on Paramount+ streaming charts
Regretting You, starring McKenna Grace, is the #2 movie on Paramount+ worldwide as of April 15, 2026. Accordingly, Glen Powell’s The Running Man, which sits at #1, outranks it (via FlixPatrol).
However, the film surpasses other titles in the top 10 list: World War Z (#3), High Ground (#4), The Naked Gun (#5), Fighting With My Family (#6), Take Cover (#7), Night Hunter (#8), Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (#9), and Never Let Go (#10).
Based on Colleen Hoover’s 2019 novel of the same name, the story follows Clara and her mother, Morgan, who discover shocking family secrets and betrayals following a tragedy. During this time, the former falls in love with and forms a budding relationship with her classmate, Miller, whom she learns is facing his own challenges.
The film, which grossed $90.5 million worldwide, initially premiered at Zoo Palast in Berlin, Germany, on October 12, 2025, before hitting theaters nationwide about a week later on October 23. It subsequently arrived a day later in the United States on October 24. Constantin Film distributed the movie in Germany, while Paramount Pictures handled distribution in America.
Critics weren’t pleased by the movie, reflected in the 29% rotten score on Rotten Tomatoes and the 33 Metascore on Metacritic. However, audiences viewed it more favorably, as displayed by the former’s healthy 84% audience score and the latter’s 6.2 user rating — which denotes a “generally favorable” reception.
Josh Boone, known for Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort’s The Fault in Our Stars and Stuck in Love, helmed Regretting You from Susan McMartin’s screenplay. Meanwhile, Brunson Green, Anna Todd, Flavia Viotti, and Robert Kulzer produced the film.
In addition to Grace, the movie stars Mason Thames, Alison Williams, Dave Franco, Scott Eastwood, Willa Fitzgerald, Clancy Brown, Sam Morelos, and Ethan Costanilla.
