Jason Momoa spoke about the possibility of a crossover between Lobo and Aquaman during CinemaCon, offering a lighthearted take on how the two characters might interact. When asked what would happen if they ever shared the screen, Momoa suggested the dynamic would not be confrontational.

The actor said, “I’ll be honest. I think they’d take one look at each other and have a few hundred beers and be like, ‘I like this guy.’” He went on to joke that the pair would likely want a film of their own, even suggesting that James Gunn could bring such a project to the screen. Peter Safran then joined in, remarking that the hypothetical film could arrive in 2031.

The remarks came during Warner Bros.’ presentation at CinemaCon, where the studio also unveiled new footage from Supergirl. The preview offered audiences a closer look at the film and placed particular focus on Momoa’s Lobo. Momoa, who previously portrayed Aquaman, described taking on the new role as a personal milestone. “This is a dream come true. This is the comic I collected,” he said.

Also appearing on stage was Milly Alcock, who leads the film as Kara Zor-El, the cousin of Superman. The character was previously introduced in Superman, where she briefly appeared to pick up her dog, Krypto, before departing. Reflecting on her experience, she said, “This journey’s been incredibly transformative for me, not only personally but professionally.”

Directed by Craig Gillespie, the film is scheduled to be released in theaters on June 26, 2026.
