Practical Magic 2 Teaser Trailer Reunites Nicole Kidman & Sandra Bullock
Warner Bros. revealed the first teaser trailer for Practical Magic 2 at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock took the stage together to introduce it, confirming the long-rumored sequel will be released soon.

The reunion seemed less like a studio presentation and more like a homecoming. “Why do we come here, Nicole?” Sandra Bullock asked the crowd at CinemaCon, locking eyes with Nicole Kidman. “We come to this place for magic,” Kidman said, borrowing her signature line from the AMC Theatres commercial (via Variety).
Bullock described the original story as “a story that people have so politely refused to let go.” That description fits the unique trajectory of Practical Magic, a movie that missed blockbuster status in 1998 yet bloomed into a favorite through home video and streaming marathons. The sequel appears poised to reward that decades-long loyalty.
The recently screened Practical Magic 2 teaser trailer drops viewers back into the world of Massachusetts witchcraft. The teaser includes a voiceover from Bullock, back in character as Sally Owens, “I’m sure you’ve heard of the Owens family. The ones from Massachusetts. The ones their neighbors whisper are witches.”
The preview shows Sally navigating life with grown daughters, while Nicole Kidman’s Gillian Owens has seemingly found a quieter rhythm alongside a black cat. That calm is short-lived as it suggests a figure played by Lee Pace extracts the sisters from their surroundings, putting them into a more perilous assignment.
Moreover, the chemistry between the two leads remains Practical Magic 2’s secret ingredient. “We’re like sisters… We produce differently. We have different skill sets that become complementary,” Kidman told Variety recently. The cast further includes Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest returning as Frances and Jet, respectively. New additions to it are Maisie Williams, Xolo Maridueña, Solly McLeod, and Joey King.
So with the Practical Magic 2 trailer now officially unveiled, fans of the Owens family can mark their calendars for a bewitching return this fall.
