What do we know about My Father’s Echo?
My Father’s Echo is written and directed by Christopher Fox, who’s best known for his work on his feature-length directorial debut, Rub. The movie will star Olivia Larsen (Fire Island, Ghost in the Graveyard) as Eva, Micah Spayer (How to Order Happiness) as Sam, newcomer Charlie Ehron as young Eva, William Nawrocki (In Action) as Father, and Dick Terhune as Dr. Schwartz. This marks Larsen and Spayer’s latest collaboration with Fox after 2023’s Rub, which won Fox the Best Director Award at the 2023 Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente de Madrid.
The movie is executive-produced by Michalina Scorzelli, with Fox and Nick Bohum serving as producers through their Stupid Ears Films banner. Bohun will also be scoring the film. The creative team is currently targeting to finish the movie by Fall 2026, where it would be ready for market.
“I’m really excited about this film,” Fox said in a statement. “It’s been years in the making — a story I kept returning to with Olivia, and I’m looking forward to finally bringing it to life and sharing it with the world.”
