Ice Cream Man Teaser Trailer Previews Eli Roth’s Bloody New Horror Movie
The Horror Section has shared the official teaser trailer for Ice Cream Man, the newest horror thriller from The Green Inferno and Hostel director Eli Roth. The movie is currently slated to arrive in theaters on August 7, 2026, pitting it directly against Hannah Einbinder’s slasher movie Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma at the box office.
“The film follows an idyllic summer town descending into madness when an ice cream man serves kids sweet delights with horrifying results,” reads the synopsis.

What happens in Eli Roth’s Ice Cream Man teaser trailer?
The video shows the titular villain, portrayed by Ari Millen (Orphan Black), selling ice cream to unsuspecting kids, who suddenly become violent against the adults. The teaser trailer highlights some of the film’s gory sequences, featuring the affected kids going wild in school and setting their house on fire.
The Ice Cream Man is directed by Roth, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Noah Belson. The movie also stars Benjamin Byron Davis (Guardians of the Galaxy 3), Dylan Hawco (Heartland), Sarah Abbott (Black Mirror), Kiori Mirza Waldman, and Charlie Zeltzer (The Handmaid’s Tale), along with Thanksgiving stars Shiloh O’Reilly, Karen Cliche, and Charlie Storey. Also rounding out the cast is Roth, who is also serving as a producer. The movie will also feature horrifying prosthetic makeup effects by Steve Newburn and Adrien Morot.
The movie is executive-produced by MCT’s Kevin Frakes, Connor DiGregorio, Eli Massillon, and Lorenzo Antonucci, and The Horror Section’s Jon Schnaars and Holly Adams. It is produced by Media Capital Technologies’ Christopher Woodrow and Raj Singh, alongside Kate Harrison for Cream Productions. It will also feature a score by Emmy Award-winning composer Brandon Roberts, with additional music by Snoop Dogg. Besides Snoop Dogg, another rap icon is involved in the film: Grammy winner Nas, who’s serving as an executive producer through his Mass Appeal outfit.
