Eli Roth’s Ice Cream Man Horror Movie Gets Bloody Poster, Teaser Trailer Date Set

Ice Cream Man, a new horror movie from Eli Roth, has a poster and a teaser trailer release date.

Ice Cream Man is a new horror movie that is releasing in United States theaters this summer. Directed and co-written by Roth, it stars Ari Millen, Benjamin Byron Davis, and more.

When is the teaser trailer for Eli Roth’s Ice Cream Man being released?

It has now been announced that the first teaser trailer for Eli Roth’s Ice Cream Man will be released on Monday, April 13, at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT. 

Additionally, Roth will be at CinemaCon in Las Vegas next week to promote the movie. See the promotional poster below for more details.

Roth additionally stars in the new movie, as do Karen Cliche, Dylan Hawco, Sarah Abbott, Shiloh O’Reilly, Kiori Mirza Waldman, Charlie Zeltzer, and Charlie Storey. The film features original music by Snoop Dogg and Emmy Award-winning composer Brandon Robert, while rap icon Nas serves as an executive producer. Noah Belson also worked on the script.

The official synopsis reads, “Ice Cream Man follows an idyllic summer town descending into madness when an ice cream man serves kids sweet delights with horrifying results.”

Roth made his feature film directorial debut in 2003 with Cabin Fever. His filmography as a director further includes 2005’s Hostel, 2007’s Hostel: Part II, 2013’s The Green Inferno, 2015’s Knock Knock, 2018’s Death Wish, 2018’s The House with a Clocking Its Walls, 2021’s Fin, 2023’s Thanksgiving, and 2024’s Borderlands.

Roth previously said about the movie, via Variety, “I couldn’t be more excited about the incredible cast we’ve assembled for Ice Cream Man. It’s surreal to see the idea I’ve had for over twenty years come to life — and with this insanely talented cast, we get to deliver a film to horror fans that’s as terrifying as I’ve always imagined.”

Ice Cream Man arrives on August 7, 2026.
