Anna Kendrick’s Acclaimed 2022 Thriller Movie Now Streaming for Free

One of Academy Award-nominated star Anna Kendrick‘s highly rated films is now officially streaming for free. The 2022 psychological thriller Alice, Darling features the Pitch Perfect star as a woman struggling to break free from a toxic relationship.

“The film follows a woman pushed to the breaking point by her psychologically abusive boyfriend, Simon. While on vacation with two close girlfriends, Alice rediscovers the essence of herself and gains some much-needed perspective,” reads the synopsis. “Slowly, she starts to fray the cords of codependency that bind her. But Simon’s vengeance is as inevitable as it is shattering — and, once unleashed, it tests Alice’s strength, her courage, and the bonds of her deep-rooted friendships.”

Moviegoers can now stream Kendrick’s thriller drama film Alice, Darling for free on the official Lionsgate Movies YouTube channel. The 2022 film served as Kendrick’s feature directorial debut, with Alanna Francis writing the screenplay. Since its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, it has received a Certified Fresh rating of 84% on Rotten Tomatoes, making it one of Kendrick’s highest-rated movies as the lead.

The ensemble cast also included Wunmi Mosaku (Sinners) as Sophie, Kaniehtiio Horn (Letterkenny) as Tess, Charlie Carrick (The Devout) as Simon, and Mark Winnick (Vikings) as Marcus. It was executive-produced by Kendrick, Adrian Love, Laurie May, and Sam Tipper-Hale, with Katie Bird Nolan, Christina Piovesan, Noah Segal, and Lindsay Tapscott.
