Nick Jonas & Ready or Not 2 Star Lead Radio Silence’s Christmas Horror Movie

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle star Nick Jonas and Lisa Frankenstein star Kathryn Newton have signed on for the leading roles in the upcoming Christmas horror movie titled White Elephant. The project hails from the Radio Silence team, who are once again reuniting with Newton after 2024’s Abigail and the recently released Ready or Not 2 movie.

What do we know about White Elephant?

Per Deadline, White Elephant will be directed by Clown in a Cornfield filmmaker Eli Craig, who also co-wrote the screenplay with JT Billings. Production has already started on the upcoming horror movie, which will take place on Christmas. In addition to leading the cast, Jonas is also serving as a producer alongside Spencer Berman for Powered By Jonas.

“Eight friends. One prize. Zero trust. Their annual festive holiday gift exchange spirals into a cutthroat game of Christmas carnage,” reads the initial synopsis.

The movie is also produced by William Sherak, Paul Neinstein, and James Vanderbilt for Project X, Tyler Gillett, and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin. It is executive-produced by Billings, Ryan McDonough, Amanda Drake, Newton, Scott Levine, and Chad Villella. MRC is financing the film.

Jonas will next be seen in Lionsgate’s upcoming musical dramedy Power Ballad with Paul Rudd. He is also set to reprise his role in the highly anticipated sequel to Jumanji: The Next Level, which will debut later this year. As for Newton, she is currently attached to star in another horror movie titled The Devil’s Mouth with Lana Condor. Recent rumors also suggested that she might be reprising her role as Cassie Lang in Avengers: Doomsday.
