Michael B. Jordan & Juno Temple’s Netflix Movie Swapped Gets Fun Trailer

Netflix has released the first official Swapped trailer, previewing the upcoming animated family film starring Oscar-winner Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple. Swapped will release on May 1, 2026.

“A buddy comedy about a small woodland creature (voiced by Michael B. Jordan) and a majestic bird (voiced by Juno Temple) — natural sworn enemies of The Valley — who suddenly swap bodies and must team up (while walking in each other’s feathers and fur) to survive the wildest adventure of their lives,” reads the official synopsis for the film.

What happens in the Swapped trailer?

The Swapped trailer follows the story of a woodland creature (Jordan) trying to make it in the valley he lives in. Things change when h e somehow swaps bodies with his natural enemy, a bird (played by Juno), and the two must team up to figure out how to switch bodies back.

Alongside Jordan and Temple, Swapped also features a star-studded cast that includes Tracy Morgan, Cedric the Entertainer, Justina Machado, Ambika Mod, and Lolly Adefope. The movie is directed by Nathan Greno, and written by John Whittington, Christian Magalhaes, and Robert Snow, from a story by Whittington, Adam Karp, Magalhaes, Snow, and Greno.

For Jordan, this is his first movie since his critically acclaimed performance in 2025’s Sinners, for which he won his first Oscar for Best Actor. Up next for the star is a remake of the classic film The Thomas Crown Affair, which he’s set to direct and star in alongside Adria Arjona, Lily Gladstone, and more.
