#SKYKING Trailer: Hulu Movie Takes New Look at Suicidal Plane Hijacker | Exclusive

ComingSoon is excited to debut the #SKYKING trailer for the feature-length documentary thriller that arrives on Hulu on Tuesday, April 14. This comes after the film’s world premiere earlier this month at SXSW 2026. It focuses on Richard “Beebo” Russell, who stole a Horizon Air De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 and committed suicide in 2018, and takes a look at the current mental health crisis in America.

“In exclusive interviews and air traffic control audio, #SKYKING tells the story of Horizon Air ground service agent Richard ‘Beebo’ Russell, who clocked into work, stole a $33 million plane, and took off into the skies of the Pacific Northwest—embarking on a white-knuckle flight that came to embody the hopes, dreams, and despair of the American working class,” says the official synopsis.
