3 R-Rated Marvel Movies Are Coming To Peacock Soon

Three R-rated Marvel movies will soon be available to stream on Peacock. The trilogy follows a half-vampire hunter as he battles supernatural enemies while struggling with his own nature.

Blade trilogy to stream on Peacock next month

Peacock subscribers can stream the entire R-rated Blade trilogy—Blade, Blade II, and Blade: Trinity—on the platform, starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

The movies follow Blade, aka Daywalker, a half-human, half-vampire warrior, who dedicates his life to hunting vampires to protect humanity. While he was still in his mother’s womb, she was bitten by a vampire. Though she died giving birth to him, Blade inherited all of the vampires’ strengths without their weaknesses. Throughout the series, he uses his power to fight evil forces like Deacon Frost and Dracula.

David S. Goyer was the lead writer for the Blade trilogy and directed the final installment. Meanwhile, Stephen Norrington helmed the original, and Guillermo del Toro directed the sequel. Wesley Snipes portrays the titular role throughout the trilogy. Furthermore, he reprised his role in Deadpool & Wolverine, which was released in 2024.

Across the three R-rated Marvel movies, the supporting cast includes Stephen Dorff, Kris Kristofferson, Donal Logue, Ron Perlman, Norman Reedus, Leonor Varela, Donnie Yen, Jessica Biel, and Ryan Reynolds, among others.

The original Blade debuted in theaters in August 1998, followed by the sequel in March 2002, and the final movie in December 2004. The reception for to the trilogy was generally mixed. While critics received the series negatively, the audience had a more favorable reception. Of the three, the first movie received the highest rating. Its currently holding a 59% Tomatometer score and 78% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes. Cumulatively, the trilogy has made over $418 million globally.

The movies were followed up by a spin-off television series in 2006, developed by Goyer. However, the network canceled it after only one season. In the series, Sticky Fingaz Jones played the titular character instead of Snipes.
