RuPaul’s Stop That Train Movie Trailer Features Sarah Michelle Gellar, Joel McHale, & More
Bleecker Street has shared the official trailer and release date for Stop! That! Train!, the upcoming action comedy starring Emmy Award winner RuPaul. The trailer teases some of the movie’s hilarious sequences, as well as a glimpse at the exciting appearances from Sarah Michelle Gellar, Joel McHale, and Raven-Symoné.
“The film follows best friends Tess and DeeDee, train stewardesses who trade their dreary shifts on the Stank Rail for the glitzy Glamazonian Express. When a catastrophic ‘Stormaganza’ threatens to derail the high-speed train and crash it into Los Angeles, the duo in coach must join forces with the snobby first-class attendants and President Gagwell to save the day in this wild ride of camp and comedy,” reads the official synopsis.

When is the release date for Stop That Train?
Stop! That! Train! is scheduled to arrive in theaters on June 12, 2026 nationwide, pitting it directly against Steven Spielberg’s star-studded sci-fi movie Disclosure Day at the box office. It will also debut in the same month as other high-profile movies like Scary Movie 6, Masters of the Universe, Power Ballad, Toy Story 5, and Supergirl.
The movie is directed by Adam Shankman, with Christina Friel and Connor Wright writing the screenplay. RuPaul will also be joined by Ginger Minj, Jujubee, Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Marcia Marcia Marcia, Latrice Royale, Rachel Bloom, and Matt Rogers. Additional cast members include Nicole Richie, Michelle Visage, Chris Parnell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Charo, Brian Jordan Alvarez, Natasha Leggero, and Drew Droege. It is produced by RuPaul, Shankman, Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, and Tom Campbell.
