Yellowstone Vets’ Cult Movie By His Hand Gets Trailer, Release Date | Exclusive

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive trailer for By His Hand, the upcoming visceral psychological thriller from Taylor and Ethan Paur. By His Hand is set to release on TVOD on April 17, 2026.

“Emma, a young woman who finally breaks free from the brutal confines of a fundamentalist cult in rural Utah—only to face the unrelenting pursuit of its iron-willed prophet. Torn between guilt and rebellion, a fellow believer risks everything to help her escape,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

What happens in the By His Hand trailer?

The trailer follows the story of Emma (played by Ryann Bailey), a woman who recently escaped a fundamentalist cult in Utah. However, the group’s prophet is hellbent on getting her back, and chases her down, leading to another member trying to help her escape by any means.

The movie stars Bailey, Chase Ramsey (Yellowstone), Steve Luna (1923), and Forrie J. Smith (Yellowstone). Taylor Paur, who worked on 29 episodes of Yellowstone, directed the film and co-wrote it alongside his brother Ethan Paur (Hereditary), which marks the feature debut for the pair. Conor Paur is also producing the project under the new banner Scryer Productions.

Ryann Bailey is best known for her appearance in the series Seeking Persephone. Ramsey has also appeared in several episodes of the hit series Yellowstone as Dale Medders.

By His Hand is set to be released on April 17, 2026, on TVOD through Amazon Hoopla.
