Who has joined Adam Sandler’s new Netflix movie?
According to a new report from Deadline, Sandler’s next movie, a remake of the 2001 French movie Time Out, has added several big stars to its cast. Willem Dafoe, Gaby Hoffmann, F. Murray Abraham, Steve Zahn, and Adam Horovitz have all joined onto the upcoming movie. Scott Cooper is attached to write, direct, and produce the movie.
The upcoming movie is a remake of the 2001 French movie from director Laurent Cantet, which tells the story of a man laid off from his job who pretends to go to work every day to avoid telling his family what happened. Sandler will reportedly play the lead character in the movie, with Hoffman set to portray Sandler’s father.
In 2025, Sandler starred in two high-profile films, including a Happy Gilmore sequel for Netflix, as well as starring opposite George Clooney in the comedy-drama Jey Kelly, for which he was nominated for a Golden Globe for his performance.
